Hey.
You didn't say much on Ginny's post, so. How are you? Are you okay? Do you want me to come visit you? Gran said that she went to check on Lucy last night. I asked her to, you know. Just to make sure she was okay.

I was going to say something earlier, but then I got caught up in the journal entry about catching Death Eaters. So, last night, after I got home from the Leaky, Gran was very proud like I would have expected, and also, she wanted to know why I've been spending so much time with you, and I told her that you were my girlfriend. She didn't seem very upset about it, just surprised. She said you could come over for dinner, if you wanted. I would like it, but I could understand if you wouldn't, because Gran is kind of frightening.

Congratulations to everyone who got an Order of Merlin last night. Which is all of us. But still. Congratulations. We all deserved them, I think, for everything that we've done.
Anyway. Anthony posted last night about how we caught Walden Macnair. Which is good news. I think we all agree on that. It's also good news because it means that the Death Eaters can be tricked. They're not infallible. We can beat them. We've been talking a lot about how to trap them. And I think the ideas are good but I'm going to suggest that, since the Death Eaters apparently hate charity so much, maybe we can stage a fake charity event, like the auction. We could tell people under wards not to go, and the Death Eaters could show up and we could catch them. We could hold it in another place, like maybe a barn or something. That way we wouldn't be damaging any important buildings, but we wouldn't be outside, ergo, they couldn't run away.
What does everyone think?

I thought you lot might want to know what's going on with Kevin. I said this on my journal last night, but you might not have seen it. He was really hurt yesterday night and I brought him to St Mungo's so he could be Healed. The Healers say that he'll make it, but he's they don't know that he'll be able to walk again. They didn't say a lot to me because I'm not family. But I thought you might like to know so when he wakes up you can be supportive of him.

I'm already good to go so Ill be looking for people.

Um, hi. I hope you're taking a break from baking to read your journal. Because you've been baking a lot. But I was talking to Luna and she suggested maybe you and Lucy and I should go over to her place and have tea. With the honking daffodil that I gave her. Okay, I know that that sounds strange, but you probably remember that honking daffodils grow better if you give them tea once a week or so, from Herbology. It's just most people --
Oh, her name is Juniper, too. The daffodil, that is.

HERMIONE. GINNY. HELP ME.
Hannah Abbott fancies me, she said so and now I don't know what to do, because I don't know if I fancy her, because I really like her, because she's really nice, and also, she's pretty, but you know, usually when you fancy someone I you get butterflies in your stomach and all that rubbish, and I don't have any of that, but I think maybe I could, but I don't know what to say to her NOW.
Also, do girls like lumberjacks?

Hi, Hannah.
Um So, I wanted to say thank you, for making dinner and everything, because I had a nice time. And it was really nice of you and everything.
But uh I want to ask you about something because Harry said something to me and I kind of wanted to know if it was true. Um He said that you fancied me, and sorry if that's not true and this is a really stupid and awkward question, and if it is you can just ignore it, or you can just ignore it either way, but Harry said maybe I should make the first move, but I don't want to do anything that makes you uncomfortable or anything so I just thought I'd ask.
Sorry.

[Dumbledore's Army]
Hi, guys.
So, I didn't say a lot at Thursday's meeting, because everyone was talking over each other and trying to get their opinions heard, but I really want to say something about what happened when we were trying to discuss the DA's purpose. I know that things have changed a lot since our fifth year at Hogwarts. Remember when we were all friends and got along and we all looked forward to meetings? Why can't we go back to respecting each other like that?
I get that not everybody is going to agree with everyone on everything. And that's not a bad thing. Lots of good ideas have come from people disagreeing. We're all different people, so it makes sense we wouldn't all agree on everything. But I want to make it clear that I don't think that disagreeing in a mean-spirited manner gets us anywhere. If you have a point to make, make it without insulting anyone, implying that people are stupid for thinking a certain way, snickering, or making snide comments behind your hands. I'm not trying to single anyone else, because I felt like a lot of people were rude on Thursday, including some people I agreed with.
I want everyone to at least be able to go into the same room without worrying that someone's going to have to run out in tears. After everything we've been through together, can't we at least do that?
A lot of people have been talking about the question of what the DA's purpose is. I thought that was pretty obvious, but I'll put forth what I think it should be:
1) To learn and practise Defence Against the Dark Arts because of our own interest, and to protect ourselves against Dark wizards 2) To fight injustice where we find it through a) peaceful social work like the boycotts and b) fighting Death Eaters when they come to us. We aren't going to go seeking Death Eaters out, but if something like the Megan situation happens again, we will still do everything we can to bring Death Eaters to justice.
I think that's pretty straightforward.

[Participants in defence practice today]
Thanks to everyone who came today to practice defence with us. I had fun, and I hope that everyone who was new learned a lot. We've been learning a lot in Auror training too, but I have to admit that it's a lot more fun with people who aren't so serious all the time.
Does everyone want to do it again? My gran offered for us to come here next time, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. She would probably want to join in, and she might send somebody to St Mungo's.

So, I got a message from the minister. The Order of the Phoenix is having a meeting tonight at 10, at the Burrow. That's Ron and Ginny's house, if you didn't know. We're going to be talking about what we can do about Megan and that whole situation. The minister said I can bring other people, so if you want to come, you can.
It might be a little weird, but we are probably going to have to work with them one way or another.

Hi, Kin Minister Kings Minister.
So, the DA has been talking about plans to get Megan back from the Death Eaters, and I know that you have a plan, but everyone wants something to do with this, because Megan is our friend, and I don't think that people are going to take 'no' for an answer. Anyway, do you think that it's possible for all of us to work together? I would have had Harry say something, but I think he seems kind of annoyed right now about the whole thing. Anyway, I'm not sure what I'm trying to say. Sorry if I'm stepping on any toes.
This is Neville Longbottom, by the way.

Well, the Room's really shaping up, for those of you who haven't been here. I've got Seamus, Terry, and Michael for company, and sometime yesterday morning when Terry was complaining about food, this tunnel opened up that goes to Hogsmeade. It goes to the Hog's Head, actually. The barkeep there's actually really swell, he's been bringing us food and copies of The Prophet and he gave us all the medical supplies that he had to help Michael, who's getting better, I think. The Room even gave us some books on healing.
But anyway, what I really want to know is what's going on on the outside. Are the Carrows angry? Have you managed to do anything else? After what happened to Michael, I don't want anyone to break into their office again.

I know I caused something of a scene at breakfast. Sorry about that. Somehow, my gran managed to get a letter to me past security.
I'm safe now, so don't worry. I'm in the Room of Requirement. I think I can stay here for a while, though I might need somebody to bring me some food at some point. Don't worry about it yet, though. I know the Carrows'll be angry that I've disappeared.
More importantly, has anyone heard from Michael? I was kind of hoping he might be in here, but he's not.

What are we going to do about the first years who got in trouble yesterday? Their roommates say that they haven't come back yet, I asked around Gryffindor. We all know what that means, and it's not good. It's one thing when the Carrows are punishing us, we're of age. But these are eleven year olds. It's as bad as what they're doing with the Muggles.
I know our last mission to help people didn't go well, but we can't just sit by and do nothing. We should at least make sure we have medical supplies for them.

I know that it's really late, but if anything, that means that the IS members will be in bed and the Carrows might be too, if they're not still busy torturing Megan. We can't let this happen, not at Hogwarts, not anywhere.
Here's the plan for now:
Everyone who's willing, meet by the statue of Gregory the Smarmy and then we'll go to the Carrows' office. Make sure to use Disillusionment Charms and keep quiet. We can't afford to get caught again. Once we get there, we'll take down the wards and go ahead with the rest of the plan. If we get through that in one piece, then we'll go find Megan.
Reply if you're coming so we know who to expect.

No one's reported back yet on what happened in the mission tonight.
Did everything go alright, and is everyone accounted for? Does anyone need medical supplies?
